Valentine's day is on Monday, so this weekend many restaurants are offering specials.
My first tip is to go to www.opentable.com to find a restaurant of your choice with availibilty. Then, if you have not already joined, now is a good time to join either Groupon.com or Livingsocial.com as there are many different specials of offer. Restaurants, spas, dance lessons, yoga, etc.
Of course my biggest tip is to avoid the crowds and go out tonight or next week, for better service and prices. On Thursdays, Red Room has their 1/2 off paella and 1/2 off sangria special. Then at 9pm, free salsa dancing lessons. This is a real bargain, good food and lots of fun! We've done it a few times. http://redroomraleigh.com/
